Now introducing our long awaited multipurpose  mists. A quick way to refresh your body, room, or fabrics with all your favorite Dreaming Tree scents.

Apple Troll: Myths have gotten somethings right...buuttt... others not so much. It's not Elves that help with all the winter holiday tasks and a certain big man with a bag, but a small group forgotten TROLLS. Apple Trolls that is! It could be easy to see how they where mistaken by elves though, they are a little round and do have very rosy little faces. But where they differ from Elves is not that their ears and feet that are pointy but their noses! Apple Trolls love to help good folk they choose, keep spirits up during the dark half of the year by helping with chores, finding money and other lost things of importance, making sure treats bake up extra delicious...and really any way they can get you too look on the bright side all for the low low cost of a glass of hot apple cider (it's where the apple in their kind came from). They are honest folk and value a cozy rest after a hard days work. At the end of the day you'll find them with their glass of sweet apple cider and pipe of cherry pipe tobacco (no smoke/smoking notes more warm and woodsy).

Frost Faerie: As the Winter Solstice approaches, the good things in the woods need to be protected from the bitter cold. As part of the Winter Court, the frost fairies do their duty to spread magical frost about that helps the tender things survive the winter. This frost has the essence of sparkling snowdrops, winter violets, and frosty breezes. Each is also topped with a magical snowflake!

Holly King: His majesty has arrived to grant you good winter tidings! A wreath of mistletoe, holly, ivy, evergreen boughs, frosted winter berries sits upon his head and a gust of brisk winter air follows him in.. the Holly King brings thoughts of comfort and joy to all that smell him.

Persephone Descending: As all hallows comes near so begins Persephone's Descent into the otherworld. She is still sunkissed and a touch sweet as she begins growing darker the closer she becomes to her underworld throne. Sun ripened currants, spiced pomegranate, black oak patchouli and a touch of honeyed leather. This is a lighter, warmer scent than the retired Persephone but in the same scent family. IF you where a fan you will find a lot to love about this twist on a old favorite.

Star Maiden: During the darkest nights of the year the star maidens shine down upon us singing us to sleep or back to our path, whichever we may need in Winter's icy grip. This blend is in the spirit of celebrating the calm quietness and the need to retreat and rest that can come in the winter with notes of comforting vanilla and myrrh, lavender, frankincense.

Winter Sprite: While the Frost Faeries herald winter the black sprites take it through. Swirling snowflakes of sweet cream, toasty vanilla and winter's icy breath.

Yule Queen: When the Yule Queen reigns all will be merry and bright! Deep red Merlot dances with sweet red berries, tart cranberry, and given effervescent citrus finish. You can almost feel the festive bubbles tickle your nose!

    Indulge in Black Cat!

    Posted by Binxcat4ever on 2nd Nov 2017

No better time than Halloween to share my review of the oriental body mist Black Cat. Black Cat is a creation from an independent cruelty free company – Dreaming Tree Soapworks. Black Cat is my first purchase from this brand. I honestly wasn’t certain what to expect as the quality from independents can often be pretty hit or miss. This fragrance was also offered in other forms (note – the brand creates soaps, candles, oils, and other body care products) but I went with the Mystic Mist as it seemed the safest bet for a first try.

Black Cat opens with a beautifully spiced plumy jasmine. The spices have a distinctly Fall-like feel to them without becoming gourmand. The rich, juicy dark plum tempers the jasmine so the fragrance does not become a floral. A bit into wear an exotic wood enters and envelops the notes like a night fog in the forest. The spiced plummy jasmine woods wear with a delicate wispiness without becoming powdery. There is a mysterious feel to the juice throughout the wear making it feel very intimate and sensual without being overbearing.

Black Cat has an extraordinary wear on me for a body mist. It wears for roughly 6 hours with a moderate to light projection.

Notes: “Queen of the Night jasmine, dark plums, Persian spices prowling around at midnight in a magical wood.”
